Crackly Roast Pork
Mmmmm it's in the oven and I can't wait.
Tips to porky heaven found online:
1. 500g, 30 minutes.
2. Pour boiling water over defrosted pork to shrink the skin from the scoring allowing the heat, oil & salt to penetrate.
3. Thyme & Vinegar mix.
4. Bay leaves on bottom of pan.
5. Use trivets for all round yummy cooking.
6. 220 celcius for first third of cooking time. Lower to 180 celcius for continued cooking.
7. Do not wrap pork in anything after done, during resting time, it will soften crackling.
So Red Glove whirled through all these tips and has put together an awesome smelling piggy.
